When your club joins The Avid Golfer, you’ll receive a personal invitation with a club-branded welcome. Your club’s events, competitions, professionals and members appear in the app the moment you sign in.

Do I need to belong to a club?
No. Anyone can join The Avid Golfer and play matches, run tournaments and use GPS and shot tracing on any course. If your club is on The Avid Golfer, its members, events and professionals simply appear alongside.
Can my guests play in a match without the app?
Yes. Add a guest by name when you set up the match and score for them as you play. They can join properly whenever they like.
How does billing work?
Membership is $5 a month or $60 a year, billed securely through the App Store or Google Play. You can cancel at any time from your store subscription settings, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Which phones does it work on?
The Avid Golfer is available for iPhone and for Android phones.
How do I sign in?
With a one-time passcode sent to your mobile number or email — there’s no password to remember. More about sign-in and text messages.
Is my information private?
We do not sell your personal information, and we never send marketing text messages. Your name, home course and handicap are visible to other golfers on The Avid Golfer by design; you choose whether your phone number and email are shown. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.
